PIPELINE

HH101
As for the sonic hedgehog (SHH) signal pathway, smoothened (SMO) receptor is activated when Sonic hedgehog is united with Patched1 (PTCH1), the receptor in the cell membrane. It is known that the activated SMO inhibits SUFU, the negative regulator of hedgehog signaling leading to proliferation / migration / invasion of cancer cells by GLI1 activity, the transcription factor.

The HH101 SMO antibody is specifically united to the epitope of the SMO protein and inhibits the function of the SMO protein. Moreover, by blocking the hedgehog signaling process induced by the SHH ligand, it effectively inhibits GLI1 transcriptional activity.

HH101 SMO antibody can be used as helpful treatment for general cancer, resistant cancer, recurrent cancer, or metastatic cancer with which SMO protein and hedgehog signaling pathway are involved.
